jetBlue Announces Affordable New York – Paris Flight Service

US carrier JetBlue has this week announced an expansion across its transatlantic network with new routes between New York and Paris in summer 2023.

The airline will fly direct from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) into Paris’s Charles de Gaulle (CDG) via Airbus A321LR aircraft, with plans to add nonstop flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to the City of Light on the horizon.

With the upcoming debut of affordable flights to Paris, JetBlue will mark its second transatlantic destination, following the airline’s recent success introducing new flight services from New York JFK to Heathrow and Gatwick in August 2021, plus non-stop daily flights between Boston and London the following year.

The market for flights between the US and France is the second biggest in the world. The new flight path will bring visitors to continental Europe’s most visited destination, with France predicted to have welcomed 75 million tourists by the end of 2022.

“JetBlue is offering something completely unique to what you get from the big global legacy airlines on these routes – where a single high-fare joint venture operates nearly three quarters of the flying,” JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes stated. “The response to our London services is proof that combining great service with low fares works.”

In addition to low fares, the airline’s in-flight perks will be available on all Airbus A321 flights to Paris – including Wi-Fi, free live TV, power outlets on each seat, extra-large overhead bins, generous leg room and a new build-your-own meal food service.
